BindTree
Purpose
The BindTree utility was developed in order to help gather the most important
characteristics of various MAC drivers and network interface cards.
Usage
The utility is an easy to use, single program file named BINDTREE.EXE.
It does not require the NTRACE.OS2 driver to be loaded. This means
it is appropriate to use to investigate the capabilities of new LAN adapter
hardware and the status of an NDIS protocol tree. It doesn't require
any command line parameters to run. Simply execute:
bindtree | more
It will display a detailed, formatted report of the
entire bindings tree (protocol modules and MAC modules), known to and maintained
by the OS/2 Protocol Manager. Note: the same
module may be listed multiple times in the tree. This is a known
"feature" of the Protocol Manager's BindTree function call, not a BindTree
utility bug.
Please refer to IBM's NDIS documents for description
of the appropriate tables.
